Social network users criticize absence of masks at wedding party of Kadyrov's nephew

Guests, including the leader of Chechnya, ignored the mask regime at a wedding party of Abubakar Kadyrov, note local residents who watched a video about the sumptuous celebration.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Ramzan Kadyrov himself and his associates demonstratively ignore the mask regime, and that fact prevents residents of Chechnya from accepting the restriction measures without criticism.

Ramzan Kadyrov used his page on the "VKontakte" social network to announce the marriage of his nephew. The video shows that dances and a festive meal were organized for numerous guests, while no one of them was wearing a protective mask.

Some social network users criticized organizers of the wedding party. "Half of the Chechen residents are staying beggars without job, while they are feasting," Daniil Kozlov expressed his displeasure.

Some Instagram users also found the demonstrative luxury of a celebration excessive. "In this republic, the Kadyrov family and their associates can afford such a luxury, while the rest can barely keep body and soul together," wrote user astana1142.

"Now I understand what the expression of 'a feast in time of plague' means. Tens of thousands of people stay without job and money, while the top-ranking officials demonstrate how they have fun," Malika, a woman from Grozny, expressed her indignation.
