Law enforcers raid Makhachkala "Tangim" Mosque again

Law enforcers stopped the cars leaving the mosque after the Friday (July 24) namaz (prayer). They checked those who wear beards, the parishioners have stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that law enforcers are regularly conducting their Friday raids near the "Tangim" Mosque in Makhachkala. In February, one of the believers complained to the prosecutor's office that law enforcers forced by threats to appear for questioning after they copied his data during a raid.

After the Friday prayer, law enforcers stopped the drivers leaving the "Tangim" Mosque and checked their documents, Idris Yusupov, a journalist, told the "Caucasian Knot". According to his story, over 40 law enforcers took part in the latest raid.

A mosque parishioner named Ismail said that policemen stopped those wearing beards.
