Coronavirus-infected family faces bullying in Volgograd Region
The Gorbachov family from the Ilovlinsky District, in which coronavirus was confirmed in three members, has faced bullying.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that a 46-year-old resident of the Kolotsky Farmstead in the Ilovlinsky District of the Volgograd Region, suspecting that he had been infected with coronavirus, instead of calling an ambulance, went to the hospital himself in order to get examined. After some time, coronavirus tests showed that not only he had been infected, but also his wife and his son.
Anastasia Gorbachova, the man's daughter, said that her family had been persecuted: an "orientation paper" on her father appeared on the wall of the local fodder factory. After that, attacks on her family began appearing in social networks; and ridiculous rumours about the family began circulating around the farmstead.
The above paper stuck to the factory wall discloses her father's personal data and his address; it was also stated that he had brought the virus from Moscow. "I don't understand why the address was given in the paper. People are angry; they can crawl over and burn our house down, God forbid, of course," said Anastasia.
