Recognition of situational examination to be illegal can change the course of investigating the Beslan terror act

The decision of the Leninskiy Court of Vladikavkaz to recognize the complex situational examination, which has concluded innocence of the members of the hostage rescue operative headquarters, to be illegal and unjustified can radically change the investigation course of the basic case on the Beslan act of terror and bring into challenge certain conclusions of Torshin commission. Susanna Dudieva, chairperson of the "Beslan Mothers" Committee, told about it at the press conference.

The court decision on recognition of the situational examination to be illegal and unjustified made on November 9, has finally come into force. Thus, this court brings hope to the victims that the investigatory team of the State Public Prosecutor's Office who is investigating the basic case on Beslan terror act will conduct an additional investigation in relation of the actions undertaken by the members of the hostage rescue operative headquarters.

The "Beslan Mothers" Committee has stated that the victims are going to address again, now based on the court decision, to the prosecutor's office demanding to conduct a new investigation into the actions of members of the operative headquarters.
