Social network users criticize Kadyrov Fund for unsanitary at spreading food

A report on a charity action organized by the Kadyrov Fund caught the attention of Instagram users. Volunteers unloaded the bread intended for the poor onto the cloth spread directly on the ground; those who helped in unloading and forming food packages were without basic protection means, social network users have noted.

A video clip about the food aid provided by the Kadyrov Fund to residents of Grozny was posted on April 12 in the Instagram public of the "Grozny" ChGTRK (Chechen State TV and Radio Company).

"The unprecedented action of spreading bread and other foodstuffs began from the announcement day of the self-isolation regime. Those who are under quarantine and categorically not allowed to go out need help especially. Poor families are also the recipients," said the author of the video. According to her story, apart from bread, they also spread other foodstuffs, as well as medical masks.

The video shows that a pile of bread is dumped onto a piece of polyethylene spread directly on the asphalt. Men, some of them without gloves and masks, collect it into bags, and then load the bags into car trunks. Some volunteers and recipients were also without masks and gloves.

Social network users have criticized the organizers of the food aid for, in their opinion, unsanitary conditions. "Volunteers have no special clothes, unsanitary conditions with foodstuffs ... Bread is on the floor," the user faberlic_shop_vasilisa has written.
