MK: Litvinenko was interrogated in Moscow on Politkovskaya's case

Alexander Litvinenko, a former FSB employee, now residing in Great Britain, some time ago was interrogated by a Russian investigator on the murder of journalist Anna Politkovskaya, the "Moskovskiy Komsomolets" (MK) reports. Wednesday is 40 days after her murder.

According to the source of the edition, Mr. Litvinenko, who is under search, was interrogated by that very investigator who had initiated a criminal case against Litvinenko himself. The State Office of Public Prosecutor is categorically denying the fact of interrogation. However, if the visit of Litvinenko to Russia had taken place, it means that the former FSB lieutenant colonel had indeed possessed such valuable information on Politkovskaya's case that they had promised to keep him at large.

We remind you that on November 1, Litvinenko was poisoned in one of London restaurants when meeting his informant Mario Scaramella. Litvinenko told that Scaramella gave him some documents containing data on Politkovskaya's killers.
