Residents of Chechnya criticize awarding of Ramzan Kadyrov's relatives
Agazert Daaeva, an aunt of the Chechen leader, was awarded the Order of Akhmat Kadyrov, and Medni Kadyrova, a spouse of the leader of Chechnya, was awarded the Badge "For Distinction in the Fight against Terrorism." The authorities of the republic demonstrate that relatives of Ramzan Kadyrov make up a special caste, local residents note.
After a collection of clothes of the "Firdaus" fashion house, led by Aishat Kadyrova, a daughter of the leader of Chechnya, was presented in Paris, Ramzan Kadyrov awarded his daughter with the Medal "For Merit to Chechnya". The award does not correspond to the status of Aishat Kadyrova and the ethical standards of Islam, readers of the "Caucasian Knot" believe.
"Agazert Daaeva, a sister of our first president Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov, who was Hero of Russia, raised worthy, courageous, brave sons," Ramzan Kadyrov wrote on his pages in VKontakte and Instagram.
Awarding Agazert Daaeva the Order of Akhmat Kadyrov does not correspond to the status of the highest award of Chechnya, believes Ibragim, a resident of Chechnya.
"Ramzan Kadyrov rewards whom he wants, promotes whom he wants, and punishes whom he wants," notes Israil, another local resident.
"Kadyrov family members live in their own separate world. They enjoy life, while the majority of people survive on their salaries and pensions," notes Liza, a resident of Grozny. According to the woman, she and her three children barely have enough money "for scarce food and cheap clothes."
