Azerbaijan reports shelling attacks on six villages in Karabakh conflict zone

The positions of the Azerbaijani troops in villages on the border with Armenia and in the Karabakh conflict zone were shelled 31 times within 24 hours, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan reports.

The positions of the Azerbaijani troops were shelled 31 times within 24 hours, including from large-calibre machine guns, the press service of the Azerbaijani MoD reported.

According to the Azerbaijani MoD, the fire came from the Noyemberyan and Berd Districts of Armenia and also from the territories controlled by the authorities of Nagorno-Karabakh.

On March 8, Serob Makhsudyan, the head of the Voskepar village in the Tavush District, reported that the village was shelled from a machine gun from the Azerbaijani side. According to Serob Makhsudyan, no villagers were injured, but two bullets hit a local resident's house. The head of the Voskepar village reported a similar incident on March 1.
