Several Neftchala District administration officials detained in Azerbaijan
The State Security Service of Azerbaijan conducted a special operation in the building of the Neftchala District administration and detained several officials on suspicion of violating the rights of local residents.
According to the Azerbaijani State Security Service, officials from the district administration used their powers and caused "huge damage" to the rights of citizens.
The State Security Service of Azerbaijan did not specify under which article the criminal case was instituted and what kind of crime was in question. The security services also did not disclose the number of detainees, the Azerbaijani agency "Trend" reports today.
During the special operation, the administration building of the Neftchala District was cordoned off, the portal "Haqqin" reports.
The "Caucasian Knot" does not have any comments from the administration of the Neftchala District.
