Azerbaijan counts 23 shelling attacks on frontline

Within the past 24 hours, Azerbaijani positions on the border with Armenia and in the Karabakh conflict zone were shelled for 23 times, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has informed today.

According to the MoD, over the past 24 hours, the ceasefire regime was violated for 23 times; the fire was delivered both from the side of Armenia and from the positions "located near the occupied villages."

In the Karabakh conflict zone, the fire was delivered from the side of the villages of Geyarkh, Chilyabyurt, Bash Karvend, Merzili, Kuropatkino, Garakhanbeili, Goradiz, Nyuzgar, as well as from the positions stationed on nameless heights in the Terter District, says the today's statement posted on the website of the Azerbaijani MoD.

So far, the MoDs of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh have not commented on the statement of the Azerbaijani MoD on their websites.
