In Chechnya, a local citizen was kidnapped and shot dead by unknown persons

In Chechnya, unknown persons have kidnapped and killed a local citizen, the law enforcement bodies of the Republic informed today. "Yesterday, in the Novye Atagi settlement of the Shali District unknown persons in camouflage clothes and masks penetrated into the household of an unemployed local," the source reported. According to him, the persons were armed with automatic weapons. They took the detainee in unknown direction.

"Several hours later, his body with bullet wounds was found in the village outskirts," the source said.

"15 shells of 5.45 mm calibre were taken from the scene of the accident. Currently, a criminal case has been initiated and the investigation is underway," another source in the law enforcement bodies added, the RIA "Novosti" reports.

We remind you that earlier Nurdi Nukhazhiev, the Ombudsman in the Chechen Republic, reported that from the time of the first war campaign, over seven thousand persons disappeared and were kidnapped in Chechnya.
