Azerbaijan registers 20 shelling attacks in conflict zone
The positions of the Azerbaijani troops in the Karabakh conflict zone and in villages located on the border with Armenia were shelled from machine guns, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) of Azerbaijan reported.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 25, like a day earlier, the Azerbaijani MoD claimed 22 cases of violation of the ceasefire.
In April 2016, after the escalation of the Karabakh conflict, the parties to the conflict announced a ceasefire, but the armed confrontation did not stop. During the first two years, shelling attacks in the Karabakh conflict zone took place every day.
The positions of the Azerbaijani troops were shelled 20 times a day, including from heavy machine guns, the press service of the Azerbaijani MoD reported.
