Chechnya to spend 4.6 million for orders and medals named after Akhmat Kadyrov

The amount of 4.6 million roubles was allocated from the Chechen budget for the manufacture of orders and medals named after Akhmat Kadyrov. According to the materials of the public procurement website, the orders and medals are to be made of gold and precious stones.

The public institution "Centre for support of the administration of the leader and government of the Chechen Republic" placed an order for the manufacture of 20 orders and medals named after Akhmat Kadyrov, the first president of the republic.

According to the tender documentation, the winner of the tender should manufacture 10 medals "In memory of Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov, the first President of the Chechen Republic" from 750 gold. A medal has a block with 108 precious stones and should weigh at least 58 grams.

"A block imitating the flag of the Chechen Republic [...] is encrusted with precious stones, including 54 emeralds, 18 diamonds, and 36 rubies," says the product description on the public procurement website.

Besides, a contractor will also produce 10 orders named after Akhmat Kadyrov. An order is also to be made of 750 gold and should weigh at least 58 grams, the front part of the block is also encrusted with precious stones, but their number is not specified in the description on the public procurement website.
