Native of Volga region returns home after her mother's appeal to Ramzan Kadyrov

On November 26, 20-year-old Kamilya Abdulkadirova, who earlier left the Nizhny Novgorod Region for Chechnya, returned home after her mother had appealed to Ramzan Kadyrov with a request to help with the return of her daughter.

Earlier, Zulfiya Abdulkadirova has claimed that her daughter had fled to Chechnya against the will of her parents and got married.

The edition "NN.ru" made public a video message recorded by the young woman. "I fell in love with a man, and I wanted to marry him. However, unfortunately, it didn't work out. My parents are against our marriage. My mother will come to accompany me home. Please don't spread rumours about Chechen people: they are very good, very hospitable people," the young woman says in the video.

Let us remind you that in Chechnya, bride kidnapping is prohibited since October 2010.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in July, a resonance was provoked by a story of a 20-year-old resident of Moscow. According to the "Kitezh" crisis centre, the above 20-year-old resident of Moscow was taken to Chechnya by her parents who wanted to force her to get married against her will. Later, an audio message from the young woman appeared on the Internet, in which she stated that nobody had forcibly taken her away. Ekaterina Vinokurova, a member of the Human Rights Council, suggested that the young woman was forced to make such an audio record.
