Residents of Makhachkala join rally held by Gasanguseinov and Gasanov

Six residents of Makhachkala joined Murtazali Gasanguseinov, a father of the killed shepherds, and activist Djambulat Gasanov, who went on pickets in Makhachkala. Protesters criticized the actions of the investigators.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that parents of the Gasanguseinov brothers, who were killed in the Shamil District in 2016, held protests. On October 29 and November 14, the father of the killed Gasanguseinov brothers demanded to dismiss a policeman who reported on the killing of two militants.

On August 23, 2016, Nabi and Gasangusein Gasanguseinov, 17-year-old and 19-year-old brothers, were killed during an operation conducted by law enforcers in the Shamil District of Dagestan.

Today, Murtazali Gasanguseinov and activist Djambulat Gasanov have again held pickets in front of the buildings of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and the FSB in Makhachkala. The picketers were joined by city residents who came to support Murtazali Gasanguseinov.

According to Djambulat Gasanov, he and Murtazali Gasanguseinov plan to hold solo pickets every day.

Murtazali Gasanguseinov has confirmed that he intends to hold solo pickets until he meets the chief of the Investigating Department for Dagestan of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF).

Magomed, a nephew of Murtazali Gasanguseinov, was among the participants of the pickets.

Murtazali Gasanguseinov's protests are important for all residents of the republic, believes Rustal, a resident of Makhachkala.
