Magomed Daudov leads "United Russia" branch after criticism from Ramzan Kadyrov

On October 24, Magomed Daudov, Speaker of the Chechen Parliament, has become one of five officials in the regions of Southern Russia, appointed acting secretaries of regional branches of the "Edinaya Rossiya" (United Russia) Party. Ramzan Kadyrov, who had earlier criticized Magomed Daudov, approved his appointment.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at a meeting held on October 16, Ramzan Kadyrov for the first time publicly criticized Magomed Daudov. The reason for criticism was the activities of Magomed Daudov as a supervisor of the sector, which included the Kurchaloi and Shali Districts. Lom-Ali Baimuradov, the general director of the "Chechengazprom", replaced Magomed Daudov as the supervisor of the above sector.

In the evening on October 24, on his page in VKontakte, Ramzan Kadyrov wrote that the Presidium of the General Council of the "United Russia" Party appointed Magomed Daudov acting secretary of the party's regional branch.

The leader of the Chechen republic described the Magomed Daudov's appointment as "a very important and, frankly speaking, pleasant political event." "Magomed Daudov is one of the most worthy and respected members of the team founded by Akhmat-Khadji Kadyrov [...]. He served faithfully and worked in various positions, and he timely and accurately fulfilled his duties and followed instructions of any complexity," wrote Ramzan Kadyrov.
