Nagorno-Karabakh women join anti-war programme "Mothers' Movement"

In Nagorno-Karabakh, more than 30 women joined the anti-war programme "Mothers' Movement". According to its initiator Gayane Gasparyan, mothers should oppose violence, barbarism, and wars.

The anti-war programme "Mothers' Movement" under the slogan "Mothers of the world, regardless of religion and nationality, unite against war" was organized by the socio-cultural public organization "Mother Armenia XXI", reported Tsovinar Bagdasaryan, the chair of the Karabakh public organization "Women of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh)".

"There are many mothers in Artsakh who have lost their children, husbands, brothers. We continue to live in the conflict zone and we are well aware what it is like to live in constant fear for our relatives," Tsovinar Bagdasaryan explained.

According to the activist, "the goal of the movement is to gather women from different countries to protest against wars in the world."
