Youngster accused of helping Syrian militants delivered from Germany to Volgograd

A 19-year-old native of one of Caucasian republic, extradited to Volgograd, is accused of persuading two teenagers to join Syrian militants.

According to investigators, in 2017, from Germany, the accused young man, acting by correspondence through a social network persuaded two minor residents of Russia to join an illegal armed formation (IAF) acting in Syria. Russian special services did not allow the youngsters to leave for the Syrian war and brought them to criminal responsibility, while their remote recruiter was put on the wanted list. In April, it became known that he was in Germany. The Caucasian republic of his origin is not specified.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that a court in the Vladimir Region found an Armenian citizen guilty of recruiting a teenager to a terrorist organization and sentenced him to 14 years in colony.
