Ingush activist Musa Abadiev detained after a search

In Ingushetia, law enforcers conducted a search at the house of Musa Abadiev, and after that he was brought to a detention facility in Vladikavkaz, reported on Facebook Timur Abadiev, an uncle of the activist.

After a rally in Magas, which ended on March 27 with clashes between protestors and law enforcers, detentions of oppositionists were launched in Ingushetia. According to the estimates of the "Caucasian Knot", at least 96 activists were subjected to persecution, and at least 29 of them were prosecuted for calls for riots and use of violence against public officers.

Let us remind you that on March 27, Timur Abadiev himself was calling on the protesters, who blocked a federal highway, to unblock the traffic and leave the place. In April, the court imposed a fine on Timur Abadiev for participating in a rally and repeatedly fined him for participating in the campaign for direct elections of the leader of the republic in the summer of 2018. In May, Timur Abadiev was fined for the third time for participating in the rally against the establishment of a new border with Chechnya.
