Kurban Kurbanaliev's relatives learn about his transfer to Grozny

Chechen law enforcers have convoyed Kurban Kurbanaliev, a detained native of Dagestan, from the Shelkovskoy District to Grozny, his sister told the "Caucasian Knot".

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that Abidat Kurbanalieva, a resident of Dagestan, told that on July 19, 2019, people who moved in a car with Chechen number plates took her son Kurban Kurbanaliev from Moscow to Chechnya; and the relatives were not informed about the reason for his detention. Later, Abidat managed to see her son in Chechnya, after which she returned to Dagestan.

According to law enforcers, Kurbanaliev was taken to Grozny for interrogation, his sister Fatimat has reported. Prior to that, he was kept in a subdivision of one of power structures in the Shelkovskoy District of Chechnya.

The sister has added that Kurban's advocate, Madina Saidulaeva, has not yet achieved a meeting with her client. She was also not informed of the reason for Kurbanaliev's detention.
