OSCE mission fixes no shelling attacks in Karabakh conflict zone
During their scheduled monitoring, officials of the OSCE (Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe) monitoring mission found no violations of the ceasefire regime on the troops contact line.
The monitoring visit of the OSCE's observers was held on July 25 at the section of the border of Artsakh (the self-name of Nagorno-Karabakh, – note of the "Caucasian Knot") and Azerbaijan, located south of the village of Gulustan in the Shaumyan District, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Nagorno-Karabakh told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent, noting, however, that "Azerbaijan failed to the OSCE mission to its advanced positions."
In its turn, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated that the monitoring of the observance of the ceasefire regime "ended without incidents."
It should be noted that the monitoring visits conducted by the OSCE mission fail to fix violations of the ceasefire regime. However, the parties regularly exchange accusations of violating thereof.
