Armed incident in KBR is third this year

The driver's shelling attack on policemen committed in the Baksan District has become the third armed incident since the start of the year in the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on April 2 in the Baksan District of, a car driver opened fire on the policemen, who stopped the car for inspection. The policemen were not wounded; and the attacker managed to escape; now, the search for him is underway.

The previous armed incident in the KBR was a special operation in Nalchik on February 27, during which three people were killed in a private house. According to the official version, they had planned to commit a terror act in the republic.

The first this year's incident was the attack on DPS (road-and-patrol service) inspectors in Nalchik on January 24. One of them was stabbed and died. Four attackers were killed.

Let us remind you that in 2018, in the KBR, six people were killed in the armed conflict. In 2017, one person was killed, according to the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot".
