Law enforcers bring Muslim Djambekov from Grozny to Moscow

Muslim Djambekov who after the Ramzan Kadyrov's warning came to the police to surrender after a road accident in Moscow has been brought by policemen to the Russian capital to be handed over to investigators. A new video with his apologies to the leader of Chechnya caused bewilderment among residents of the republic interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot". They noted that after a similar road accident in Grozny with the participation of a Ramzan Kadyrov's relative, the guilty driver was not punished.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at night on March 25, a fatal road accident occurred in Mozhaisk highway in Moscow and two persons were killed in it. On March 28, Ramzan Kadyrov demanded from a driver who fled a place of the road accident in the Mozhaisk highway "not to disgrace his family" and come to the police. On the other day, Ramzan Kadyrov posted a video with the Muslim Djambekov's apology and the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) confirmed the driver coming to surrender.

Today, Muslim Djambekov has been brought by policemen from Grozny to Moscow, reports Irina Volk, the official representative of the Russian MIA.

On March 29, the "Grozny" Public TV Channel showed in its night news a plot with the participation of Muslim Djambekov, who apologized to Ramzan Kadyrov.

"The plot is clearly staged. Our government has just made good PR steps and earned new points using the tragedy. There is another confirmation that Ramzan Kadyrov has got complete control over the situation in the region," the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Fatima, a local resident.

The Muslim Djambekov's case has demonstrated the double standards of Ramzan Kadyrov, believes Vakha, an employee of a Grozny enterprise. "I welcome the fact that the driver guilty of the two persons' deaths is found and will be now punished according to the law. It is an achievement of Ramzan Kadyrov, and it is also understandable. However, for some reason, in another similar situation that happened several weeks ago in Grozny, the Chechen leader did not adhere to the same principles. In that case, the guilty driver was not even dismissed from work, let alone bringing him to criminal responsibility. It turns out that the law is not the same for everyone?" the local resident told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

In early December 2018, residents of Chechnya used social networks to demand from the leader of the republic to react to a road accident, provoked, according to them, by a top-ranking official, a cousin of Ramzan Kadyrov. The leader of Chechnya made it clear that the top-ranking official would not be punished.
