Ramzan Kadyrov reports on appearance of driver guilty of road accident in Moscow

A driver wanted after a road accident in Mozhaisk highway has come to the police, reports today Ramzan Kadyrov. The leader of Chechnya has published a video with the apology voiced by Muslim Djambekov. Users of social networks argued about the need for the Chechen leader's intervention in such resonant cases.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 28, Ramzan Kadyrov demanded from a driver who fled a place of the road accident in the Mozhaisk highway "not to disgrace his family" and come to the police.

"Muslim Djambekov has come to the Chechen law enforcement bodies. He was wanted as a driver guilty of a fatal road accident in the Mozhaisk highway, in which a woman and a girl were killed. The Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has informed me that Muslim Djambekov explains he was in a state of shock and was injured in the road accident. He uses such words to explain his act, which is not really an act for a man," Ramzan Kadyrov writes today on his page in the social network "VKontakte".

The leader of Chechnya has also noted that Muslim Djambekov "is ready to incur any punishment provided by the law." "He claims he deeply regrets what has happened and expresses his condolences to family members and friends of the women and the girl killed in the road accident," emphasized the leader of Chechnya. He accompanied his post with a video.

In their comments under the post about the Ramzan Kadyrov's appeal to the suspected perpetrator of the road accident in Moscow, Facebook users argued about the need for the Chechen leader's intervention in the case.

"Ramzan Kadyrov will benefit from it to raise his rating. That's all," Elena Savi expressed her opinion.

"Ramzan Kadyrov is a part of our system. There should be no such leaders in a normal system. He puts his personality above the law," noted John Smith.

"Would it be better if he was silent? Perhaps, he has his sins, but here and now he helps to catch a criminal. I believe it is a good deed," Alain Balakbaev wrote.
