Suspect in attack on Russian soldier in Armenia detained

A case on the injury of a soldier of the 102nd Russian base in Gyumri has been solved, and a suspect has been detained, report investigators.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that at night on March 8, Russian soldier Radjan Kazhimirov was wounded with a knife in Gyumri. He was hospitalized in severe condition.

"A resident of the Shirak Region, born in 1990, was detained. He is suspected of inflicting a wound to the 22-year-old soldier," the "Interfax" quotes today the press service of the Investigating Committee of Armenia as reporting.

The same information has been reported today by the "News of Armenia" with reference to Naira Arutyunyan, the spokesperson for the Investigating Committee of Armenia.
