Disappearing in Chechnya
Two girls have been missing since the New Year eve in Chechnya's Gudermes district, according to the district administration. Markha Saburayeva and Aishat Atakayeva, resident in Isti-Su, left home in the morning on 31 December.
Intensive measures taken by the republic's law enforcement agencies have so far been unproductive. The older girl is 17 and the younger one is 15, Interfax reports.
