Ingush teips declare mourning for people killed in Nazran

The congress of Ingush teips has sent a request to the Prosecutor's Office to objectively investigate the incident in Nazran, in which two persons, including activist Muslim Khashagulgov, were killed. The elders declared in the republic the mourning for the killed persons.

On December 12, an explosion occurred near a shopping centre in Nazran. Suspected militants threw a grenade at policemen and injured two of them. The suspects were killed during detention. According to eyewitnesses, activist Muslim Khashagulgov, who worked at the shopping centre as a guard, and seller Khaniev were killed.

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has been told by Akhmed Barakhoev, one of the elders, that the Council of teips called on young people to keep calm.

Activist Barakh Chemurziev has recalled the presumption of innocence for the suspects killed in Nazran.

Musa Abadiev, another activist, has called the incident "a provocation against public figures" and explained that Muslim Khashagulgov was actively involved in protests in Magas.

Everyone who personally knew Muslim Khashagulgov characterized him only on the positive side, wrote on Facebook journalist Isabella Evloeva.

The shopping centre (SC) "Kovcheg" is known for the fact that local activists and leaders of the rally against the transfer of Ingush lands used it as their headquarters and press centre, noted on Facebook Bekkhan Pliev.

Magomed Mutsolgov, the head of the human rights organization "MASHR", believes that "Muslim Khashagulgov was not involved in any illegal activities."
