The documentary film "Porok" (Vice) about corruption in Dagestan was presented at the Bishkek Film Festival. It tells about the organization "Patient's Monitor", which is engaged in the protection of citizens' rights in the field of public health. Since the start of 2018, the organization, according to its leaders, has helped Dagestani privileged patients to receive medicines worth over 10 million roubles.

On November 12-17, the human rights movement "Bir Duino-Kyrgyzstan" is holding the 12th Human Rights International Documentary Film Festival "Bir Duino-Kyrgyzstan-2018", dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the United Nations Human Rights Universal Declaration.

The above film has received many positive reviews, said Khalid Omarov, the film director and a deputy head of the "Patient's Monitor".

According to his story, the film shows the problems of Dagestani modern medical care.

The "Patient's Monitor" was founded in 2016 and receives 15-20 applications per month, said Ziyaudin Uvaisov, its leader.

Recently, the organization's branches were opened in the neighbouring Kabardino-Balkaria and Ingushetia.
