Prosecution gives formal answers

The relatives of those killed in the capital of Kabardino-Balkaria have today received answers to all their addresses to government agencies of Russia — the Prosecutor General, the Duma, the Human Rights Commissioner Vladimir Lukin, the internal affairs minister, etc.

All the answers with identical contents are signed by Mr Sovrulin, head of the Nalchik investigation group and investigator for especially important cases at the Main Department of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation in the South federal district.

The answers say in particular that the bodies will only be given out to relatives when all forensic tests have been carried out and only if they show that a person did not take part in the attack in Nalchik on 13 November.

In their addresses, the relatives of those killed in the capital of the republic had asked to give out their bodies for burial, stop persecution of believers, and open mosques.
