Organizers call on people to finish rally in Magas

In Magas, an action against the change in the border with Chechnya was finished earlier than planned, and protesters expressed their intention to act in a legal way, stated protest organizers. The co-chairs of the NGO "Mekhk Khel" did not agree with the decision.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that starting from October 4, the capital of Ingushetia hosted a mass action against the change in the border with Chechnya. The protest was interrupted to prepare the Congress of the Ingush People.

On October 30, the Ingush Constitutional Court found the law on the border with Chechnya unconstitutional.

Today, the protest has been finished earlier than planned. Malsag Uzhakhov, the chair of the Council of Ingush teips, thanked the protesters for their patience and asked them to go home. He noted that they had already achieved the desired result, the "Ingushetia" reports.

"There is no special sense to hold rallies, since the Constitutional Court is on our side," Barakh Chemurziev, a member of the rally organizing committee, told the "MBH Media".

According to Elder Akhmed Barakhoev, the next step in resolving the land dispute should be a session of the Ingush National Assembly. MPs will consider a bill to repeal the decree on the border with Chechnya, the RIA "Derbent" reports.
