Azerbaijan counts 29 shelling attacks per day

Over the past 24 hours, units of the Armed Forces of Armenia violated the ceasefire regime for 29 times by using large-calibre machine guns, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has reported.

Earlier, on October 16, Azerbaijan counted 30 attacks per day. The ceasefire violation was recorded in two districts. Nagorno-Karabakh's MoD also reported 100 attacks from the Azerbaijani side during the period of October 7-13.

On October 17-18, opponents shelled the positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in the village of Zamanly, Gadabay District, the website of the MoD of Azerbaijan reports.

Let us remind you that on September 28, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan agreed to set up an operative communication mechanism aimed at preventing violations of the truce in the Karabakh conflict zone.

In early October, the intensity of mutual attacks has considerably decreased, which was noted both by Pashinyan and the MoD of Azerbaijan.
