Dagestani authorities promise to give an iPhone for dobbing

A resident of Dagestan, who will report to the hotline the highest number of messages on extremist posts in social networks, will get an iPhone, reports the Dagestani Ministry of Communications.

The Ministry of Communications, Information, and Mass Communications for Dagestan has offered residents to leave online anonymous messages about promotion of extremism and terrorism on the website "112.rdpress.ru" by filling out a special form.

The most active users of the hotline will be able to win prizes. For the first place, a person will get an Apple iPhone SE 32 Gb, for the second ‑ a Xiaomi Redmi 5 32 Gb smartphone, and for the third place ‑ a Xiaomi Redmi 4A smartphone, the website reports.

Anyone can report to the website links to the posts that violate the laws of the Russian Federation and that incite hatred on religious or national grounds. Then experts from the national centre for information counteraction to terrorism and extremism would process the request, and the results would be sent to the law enforcement bodies, reported on October 9 the official website of the "Dagcomreligia".
