Pickets against pension reform held in Volgograd without detentions

On September 11, in Volgograd, three activists held their alternative solo pickets against the pension reform.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 9, in Volgograd, more than 300 people took part in an unsanctioned march of Alexei Navalny's supporters against the pension reform. After that, five activists were detained and charged with violating the law.

On September 11, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Moscow time, in the Heroes' Alley in central Volgograd, two activists of the "Open Russia" movement and a volunteer of Navalny's office held alternate solo pickets in support of the participants in the Moscow protest rally who demanded the resignation of the government and the Russian president and opposed the pension reform.

The participants in the action in Volgograd held posters "Respect for endless protest in Moscow" and "Now, Moscow hosts endless protest against pension reform".

Policemen stood at a considerable distance from the picketers; there were no detentions. The action took place without provocations, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.
