Azerbaijan states 73 bombardments during 24 hours

During the last 24 hours, the ceasefire regime on the troops contact line was violated for 73 times with the use of large-calibre machine guns, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Defence (MoD) has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that parties in Nagorno-Karabakh conflict despite the truce announced in April 2016 are regularly accusing each other of shelling. On September 3, the Azerbaijani MoD accused Armenia of 113 shelling episodes during the past 24 hours. In its turn, the MoD of Nagorno-Karabakh counted 150 bombardments by Azerbaijan committed during the week from August 26 to September 1.

On August 3-4, according to the website of the Azerbaijani MoD, the positions of the Azerbaijani Army stationed in the villages of Mundjuglu and Garalar, and on the nameless heights in the Tovuz and Gedabek Districts were shelled.
