Court arrests a native of Chechnya for attacking a Moscow policeman

On July 30, a minor, born in Chechnya, accused on suspicion of attacking a policeman in Moscow, was arrested for two months.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in the afternoon on July 27, a policeman on duty at the Embassy of Slovakia in Moscow was hospitalized with stab wounds. A native of the Chechen village of Vedeno, born in 2000, was detained on suspicion of attacking the policeman.

On July 30, the Tver Court of Moscow pronounced the decision to arrest the 17-year-old defendant for two months.

"The Court granted a request of the investigator and pronounced the pre-trial restriction measure in the form of arrest until September 27," reported on July 30 the spokesman for the Court as quoted by the TASS.

According to a source of the TASS in the Chief Investigating Department for Moscow of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF), during the interrogation, the detainee explained his attack on the policeman by "a sudden rise of personal hostile attitudes."
