Kuban MIA accuses policemen of spreading fake after World Cup
Policemen, sent to Sochi for the time of the FIFA World Cup-2018, returned home by overcrowded train, and had to sleep on the floor, eyewitnesses assert. The Kuban (Krasnodar Territory) Department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) has treated the photos that appeared on the Internet to be faked, and promised to establish the employees who spread them.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the World Cup was held from June 14 to July 15 in 11 cities of Russia.
The policemen sent to Sochi for the time of the World Cup were sent home in overcrowded trains, the author in the group "DTP and ChP. Sochi" in the social network "VKontakte", who introduced himself as a policeman, wrote. "Eight persons were packed in one compartment; others had to stay in corridors; and this was in 18 railway cars," he wrote on July 16.
These words were illustrated by a video, showing policemen standing in the corridor of the sleeping car.
"The information posted in social networks about the insufficient number of places for policemen leaving Sochi by trains is untrue," the press service of the Krasnodar Territorial Department of the MIA has stated today, asserting that there were enough places in the military echelon, and even spare ones.
The Department saw vacant sleeping berths in the video, showing policemen lying on the floor. In the opinion of police bosses, this "proves that the photos taken in the train were staged." "The appearance of these photos and the video in the network will be checked; and the employees who spread these fake photos will be established," says the message posted on the website of the MIA's Department for the Krasnodar Territory.
