Armenia accuses Azerbaijan of shelling Chambarak

The armed forces of Azerbaijan shelled the near-border town of Chambarak, no people were injured, the Armenian Ministry of Defence (MoD) reported.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that earlier, Azerbaijan has accused Armenia of 95 cases of shelling from mortar launchers and machine guns in four villages.

In April 2016, the parties to the conflict announced a truce. However, during the two years, shelling did not cease even for a day in the Karabakh conflict zone, as it follows from the infographics "Karabakh after the truce: two years of war" prepared by the "Caucasian Knot".

The Azerbaijani forces shelled Armenia at night on July 13, the "Sputnik-Armenia" reports with reference to Artsrun Ovannisyan, the press secretary for the Armenian MoD.
