Georgia delivers suspect of bank robbery over to Armenia
The Georgian authorities have extradited Pyotr Tsygankov, a resident of Armenia, suspected of robbing a bank and a threat of explosion, to Armenia, the press service of the Armenian Police has stated.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 9, a man broke into the office of the Converse Bank located in central Yerevan and, threatening to blow himself up, demanded 60,000 euros from the cashiers. According to investigators, as a result, more than 200,000 US dollars were stolen. Three suspects were detained, and one more, Pyotr Tsygankov, a resident of Ashtarak, was put on the wanted list.
