Reproach addressed to Kadyrov at "Direct line" with Putin shows Kremlin's discontent

The reproach to Kadyrov for his appointment of a relative to the post of the Grozny police boss was not accidentally pronounced on air of the "Direct line" with Vladimir Putin. The Chechen cadre policy has long been raising questions in the Kremlin, political analysts believe.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on June 7, the televised "Direct line" with Putin, a question was raised about the appointment of Khas-Magomed Kadyrov, a relative of the head of Chechnya, as the head of the Grozny police.

Timur Alkhastov, a political analyst, believes that the issue of appointing relatives to high posts is very topical. However, in his opinion, no one will openly ask such a question in Chechnya, as this will immediately trigger retaliation of the one who dared to ask and his relatives.

"At first glance, Mr Putin ignored the message with the question; especially since the presenter did not read it out, but it's enough that it appeared on air; and it's a warning to Kadyrov," believes Arif Kazikhanov, the editor of the newspaper "Severny Kavkaz" (Northern Caucasus).

In Chechnya, they have long been accustomed to the fact that key posts in the republic are occupied by Kadyrov's relatives, or people from his closest retinue, Alexei Minaev, a political analyst has added, noting that, however, such appointments cause vexation in Kremlin's bureaucrats.
