Five "Georgian March" activists released on bail

Today, the Tbilisi City Court has ruled to release on bail five members of the organization "Georgian March", detained within the case of an attack on a journalist of the "Rustavi-2" TV Company. Two other defendants were left in custody.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 19, members of the "Georgian March" blocked a car near the "Rustavi-2" TV Company with a journalist Giorgi Gabuniya and Tamta Muradashvili, a lawyer of the "Rustavi-2", inside. There was a scuffle involving other employees of the TV Company, in which journalist David Eradze was injured. Policemen detained several activists of the "Georgian March". On March 23, they were arrested within the case of hooliganism.

After today's decision of the Tbilisi City Court, Irakli Dolendjashvili, Lado Sadgobelashvili, Mikhail Amisulashvili, Beka Revazishvili and Oleg Dangadze were released on bail of 5000 laris (about 2050 US dollars) for each. All of them are accused of group hooliganism by prior conspiracy.

Georgiy Oniani, who is accused of violence and inflicting non-serious harm to one's health, and Luka Natsvlishvili, accused of property damage, were left in custody by the court, the Georgian Public Television reports in its website.
