Azerbaijani officials report what caused explosion in Baku cafe

In the Binagadi District of Baku, a canister with propane exploded in a cafe, explains the Ministry for Emergencies (MfE) of Azerbaijan.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on May 21, in Baku, an explosion occurred in a cafe near the shopping centre "Elite". A man and a woman were killed, and two other persons were hospitalized with severe burns.

According to the preliminary information, the explosion occurred after a gas leak, the RIA "Novosti" reported on May 21.

Today, the Azerbaijani Ministry for Public Health has reported that one of the victims of the gas explosion in the cafe died, and the wounded woman is still in severe condition.
