In Armenia, opposition announces consolidation

Today, at least six opposition parties have joined the movement led by Nikol Pashinyan, his agent has reported today. The "Prosperous Armenia Party" has called on its supporters to take part in street protests.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, the police accumulated special vehicles in the centre of Yerevan, where demonstrators began to gather after the appeal voiced by MP Nikol Pashinyan, the leader of the protest movement.

Today, Alen Simonyan, a member of the board of the "Civil Contract" Party led by Nikol Pashinyan, has reported that several opposition parties have joined the Nikol Pashinyan's movement, which supporters are seeking a change of power.

"On April 25, a lot of political parties joined our movement, including the 'Prosperous Armenia Party', the second largest one in terms of the number of delegates, the 'Heritage', 'Republic', and 'Enlightened Armenia' Parties, the Social Democratic Party, the Armenian National Congress (ANC) Party, and others."

Today, the "Prosperous Armenia" Party" (PAP) has called on its supporters to come to the streets, the "NEWS.am" reports with reference to the statement released by the PAP's political council.
