Gukovo miners start receiving coal for heating

Today, 50 tons of coal have been shipped to former employees of the "Kingcoal" Group of Companies, the Information Policy Department of the Government of the Rostov Region has stated.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that because of closed mines, almost the entire population of Gukovo occurred in distress – people have no jobs, and, accordingly, livelihoods; but utility tariffs are very high, and many residents have no coal for heating their homes. Miners told about it at a press conference in Moscow on January 24.

Today, on February 12, 50 tons of coal were shipped from the warehouse of the OJSC "Donugol" to former employees of the "Kingcoal" Group of Companies, the Information Policy Department of the Government of the Rostov Region has reported.

Gukovo miners have received the first 13.5 tons of humanitarian coal, Tatiana Avachova, a member of the initiative group, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent.

According to her story, the second truck that was supposed to pick up the rest 36.5 tons of coal broke down along the road. "We have been waiting for the second truck since morning, but as we were told, it broke down," she said, noting that there is already information that the truck was repaired, and it went to loading.
