Ingushetia: CTO casualties named

The two men killed in the counterterrorist operation (CTO) held in Ingushetia have been identified as Abdulla Askhabov and Yunus Ibadiev, natives of Dagestan.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today, two suspected militants have been killed in Ingushetia.

According to law enforcers, in the morning on February 11, the above militants were blocked in the forest near the village of Ali-Yurt in the Nazran District. When offered to surrender, they opened fire from submachine guns and were killed by response fire, the Russian National Antiterrorist Committee (NAC) has reported. According to the NAC, one of the militants had been on the federal wanted list for his involvement in military operations in Syria.

Today, an informed source has confirmed the fact that two Dagestanis were killed in the CTO conducted in Ingushetia.

"The bandits liquidated during the CTO held near the village of Ali-Yurt of the Nazran District have been identified. According to preliminary information, they are Abdulla Askhabov and Yunus Ibadiev, natives of Dagestan (Khasavyurt)," the "Interfax" quotes the source as saying.

The source has also stated that Askhabov "was an accomplice to several terror acts committed in the territory of the Russian Federation, and also took part in the warfare in Syria on the side of the militants."
