Law enforcers bring Kazim Nurmagomedov to Dagestan

A father of Shamil Nurmagomedov, accused of financing terrorism, has told his relatives that he was detained in Moscow on suspicion of aiding and abetting terrorists and taken to Kizilyurt, where he would face trial. This information has been confirmed today by the Dagestani Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA), an advocate reports.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on January 31, Kazim Nurmagomedov was stopped by law enforcers in police uniform. They asked him to go with them and explained their request by the need to identify him. Family members of Kazim Nurmagomedov filed to the police a complaint about his kidnapping, since at the on duty police station they had been informed that the man had not been brought to the police.

After his detention, Kazim Nurmagomedov was taken to Dagestan. Today, the Kizilyurt City Court is expected to hold a hearing to pronounce pre-trial restriction measure against him. Kazim Nurmagomedov is suspected of aiding and abetting terrorists, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent was told by Imagadji Nurmagomedov, a son of Kazim Nurmagomedov.

"Late at night, my father phoned us. He said that he was suspected of aiding and abetting terrorists and they would choose a pre-trial restriction measure against him," the Kazim Nurmagomedov's son explained.

Let us remind you that Shamil Nurmagomedov was accused of aiding and abetting terrorists after his brother Marat joined the IS*. The "Caucasian Knot" published an interview with their father Kazim Nurmagomedov entitled "Bring back alive: From Dagestan to ISIL* to return the son".

*"Islamic State" (IS, ISIL) is a terrorist organization, banned in Russia by court.
