In Makhachkala, MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov met by about 1000 fans

On January 2, a solemn meeting of Khabib Nurmagomedov, an MMA fighter who defeated Edson Barboza at the tournament in Las Vegas, took place at the Makhachkala airport.

On December 31, 2017, at a tournament of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in Las Vegas, Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated Brazilian athlete Edson Barboza.

On January 2, about 1000 people met Khabib Nurmagomedov at the airport of Makhachkala.

Khabib Nurmagomedov informed the people who were waiting for him that his fight with Edson Barboza "went according to the plan," the RIA "Dagestan" reports.

"My task was to work as the first number. I feel good. I believe I will hold a next fight next spring, in April or May, and my rival will be most likely Tony Ferguson," said Khabib Nurmagomedov as quoted by the RIA "Dagestan".
