Mercenary from Stavropol Territory killed in Syria, social network users report

Muslim Abumislimov, a 26-year-old native of the Stavropol Territory, was killed in a battle on the side of the government troops of Syria, users of a social network reported. However, on the personal page of Muslim Abumislimov, a message was posted to refute the information about his death.

On November 1, the information about the Muslim Abumislimov's death was released by the "Military-Political Review" community in the "VKontakte".

"Muslim Abumislimov, a 26-year-old Russian citizen from the town of Ipatovo in the Stavropol Territory, was killed in Syria," wrote a social network user.

Muslim Abumislimov was involved in the hostilities in Syria as a fighter of the "Wagner's PMC" ("Wagner's Private Military Company"). Earlier, he had participated in the battles in the east of Ukraine, the "Caucasus Post" reports.

Since 2015, agents of private military companies try to recruit Russian citizens, who participated in the conflict in Ukraine, to fight in the war in Syria, reported one of the volunteers.

Meanwhile, on the Muslim Abumislimov's personal page in VKontakte, a message has been posted to confirm he is alive.

According to participants of the battles in Syria, the number of killed mercenaries from the "Wagner's PMC" can reach dozens of people, reports the newspaper "Novaya Gazeta".
