Ramzan Kadyrov reminds critics of public humiliation practice in Chechnya

The leader of Chechnya has announced that users of social networks who insult him should take responsibility for their words and that the authorities of the region "can find everyone." Ramzan Kadyrov has voiced such a statement after social network users criticized him for taking part in the opening of a Black Star Burger restaurant.

On September 22, the "Grozny" ChGTRK (Chechen State TV and Radio Company) posted a video on YouTube entitled "Kadyrov made a warning to the Internet heroes!" The video notes that on September 19, in Grozny, a Black Star Burger restaurant was opened. Meanwhile, according to the video, "99% of the population took the event with joy."

"However, there were also those who, while abroad, remotely try to influence the moods and opinions of Chechen residents. And they seek negative even in a good news," says the video released by the "Grozny" ChGTRK.

Besides, the video story also mentioned the statement voiced by Ramzan Kadyrov, who urged social network users "not to put themselves in a difficult situation." The leader of Chechnya has noted that "those who allow themselves expressing insults to hurt honour and conscience will be put on public display."

"If you think that nobody sees you on the Internet, you are mistaken. Like Russians say, even the walls have ears. None will avoid punishment. We can find you everyone," Ramzan Kadyrov stated.
