Charity action in Pitsunda raises funds to treat a three-year-old boy

Organizers of a charity action held in the city of Pitsunda managed to raise 315,240 roubles for treatment of a three-year-old boy, suffering from epilepsy, in Krasnodar.

The action of this sort – to help seriously ill children – was held in Pitsunda for the fourth time, the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent reports.

According to Azamat Bagateliya, the organizer of the action and the head of the "Ashana" Fund, the raised sum is "not final," since partners of the fund continue making contributions.

"The amount consists of charitable donations of the participants of the action, as well as contributions of employees of the "Pitsunda" Association of Boarding Houses, and tickets sold to the exhibition, where partners’ products were sold," Mr Bagateliya has explained.

The organizers have added that five clients of the fund had already received help from the Fund of Abkhazia Socio-Cultural Initiatives.
