During the week from July 17 to July 23, 2017, there were no casualties or wounded persons in the armed conflict in Northern Caucasus. These are the results of the calculations run by the "Caucasian Knot" based on its own materials and information from other open sources.
Detentions
On July 18, two policemen were detained in Kabardino-Balkaria on suspicion of arms and drugs dealing. In Kyarov Street of the city of Chegem, the police and FSB agents stopped the car of an operative agent with grenades, explosive devices and a large batch of drugs. An hour later, a police inspector's car was stopped in Malbakhov Street in Nalchik, from which a pistol, a sniper rifle, a hand grenade and ammunition were confiscated. The suspects, according to investigators, are employees of various units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic (KBR).
